madison & makenzie | little kids with big hearts

Oh how I love these kids. This is shoot number three that I’ve had the privilege of having with them.  They were just as adorable as ever, but this shoot mom had a special request. Here’s part of the email I got from her.

“We just found out that Makenzie has a hole in his heart. We go soon for an EKG and ECG of his heart to determine wether or not they will do surgery to repair it. In this mothers opinion he is the most special little boy with the sweetest heart in the world so I really want to do some special pictures of him maybe with his shirt of or something so that I can have them to look back on and see what we overcame with him at such a young age.”

What a crazy thing to have to go through. But this brave little boy was all giggles at our shoot and played with cut out paper hearts with his cute little bare chest.

Also big sis is a child super model. Honestly, she makes you work for a smile, but when you look that cute somber, who needs a smile??
