It’s not only engagement week on the blog, but it’s also apparently BESTIE WEEK! Andrea was my other bestie in college. My dry, witty friend that could ALWAYS make me laugh. You may remember the CRAZY AWESOME BABY SHOWER she was one of the three hostesses/creative geniouses for.
Andrea’s love for Disney is only exceeded by her love for Broadway Musicals. She is a high-school theatre teacher and a self-proclaimed 8-year-old-girl-for-life. And Jon’s love for finance is only exceeded by his love for 8 year old girls. No! A joke! Andrea (also now in st.louis, dang friend-stealing city) called to tell me about the most perfect present she ever got from Jon. He bought her “stock” in Disney. Is that not the best of two-worlds combining??
When they got engaged, Jon had planned a surprise camping trip for the two of them. He proposed, they ventured away from their tent to find cell service to call the parents, and when they came back, there were two greyhound puppies in their tent. Not planned. They immediately dubbed them the “engagement puppies” and then adopted them as their own.
