Now anyone who knows me knows my INTENSE passion for gardening. Wait. I’ve never gardened a day in my life, that’s right. Let’s try that again. Everyone who knows me knows my INTENSE passion for going on roadtrips to weird, quirky places. That’s better. So when Michelle Houghton and Mara Dawn organized this little outing to an heirloom seed festival, how could I resist?
It turns out Baker Creek is ADORABLE. The cinnamon rolls are bigger than my head (and remember I have a larger than average head.) There was hand-painted type EVERYWHERE…and to be honest with you…I’m thinking about planting some seeds. (What’s that? Oh, you have to water them? Oh… and dig in the dirt? Oh? It takes time and commitment? Okay. Well then, we’ll see how it goes…I bought some anyway.)
Katie Shelton is a walking visual treat. Every time she shows up to a play date I end up shouting, “AHHH!!!! I HAVE to take your picture!!!!!!” I think I have a very specific Katie-related form of turret syndrome. I’m looking into it.
