Our Family at the Fair!

You may remember the last time we did a photoshoot at the fair when I was pregnant with Callie. It ended up being my favorite shoot of all time and now that we have two kiddos, I wanted to do a re-re-remix. What can I say? I’m a sucker for whimsy and joy, and…creepy carnies....

In this case, the beautiful Taisia Gordon (who is the sweetest person and CUTEST mom) wanted to capture a sunny picnic with her family. I originally shot this...

It does get better and better! Katie, thank you for capturing this time in our lives so perfectly.

I got to photograph my grandparents

I asked my grandparents if I could take them outside for a minute and photograph them. They obliged and before I could even direct them, this photo happened. I believe this is now my favorite photo I’ve ever taken, and I will treasure it. My grandfather was a kid in Poland during World War Two....

Wow, Kate! What a gift to read that story and see these images… You’re a good storyteller; no doubt you’ve learned this trait from your family. I’m happy for this career path for you. It seems like a wonderful fit for you, friend. Much love!
